“Rejoice!”

Zechariah 9:9

“Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout in triumph, O daughter of Jerusalem!  Behold, your king is coming to you; He is just and endowed with salvation, Humble, and mounted on a donkey, Even on a colt, the foal of a donkey.”  Zechariah 9:9 NASB

Christ is the King – “Now Jesus was standing before Pilate, the Roman governor. "Are you the King of the Jews?" the governor asked him.  Jesus replied, "Yes, it is as you say." Matthew 27:11 (NLT) 

Christ Brings Victory – “How we thank God, who gives us victory over sin and death through Jesus Christ our Lord!”  1 Corinthians 15:57 (NLT) 

Christ Paid Our Debt -  “What we do see is Jesus, who "for a little while was made lower than the angels" and now is "crowned with glory and honor" because he suffered death for us. Yes, by God's grace, Jesus tasted death for everyone in all the world.”  Hebrews 2:9 (NLT) 

Christ Has Died, Christ Has Risen, Christ is Coming Again -  “For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”  Romans 10:9 (NLT)

Prayer – Dear Father in Heaven, I rejoice in Your gift of Jesus!  I believe Jesus is God and proclaim He is the King of my life.  Thank you for the death and resurrection of Jesus, because it gives me victory over sin and death.  I thank You that Jesus did not stay dead, but He has risen and because I trust in Him I am prepared for His return.  Amen.
