• Love Gives Evidence of Faith -  “The one who loves his brother abides in the Light and there is no cause for stumbling in him.”  1 John 2:10 (NLT) 
 

• Love Was Illustrated in the Life of Jesus -  “Though he was God, he did not demand and cling to his rights as God.  He made himself nothing; he took the humble position of a slave and appeared in human form.  And in human form he obediently humbled himself even further by dying a criminal's death on a cross.”  Philippians 2:6-8 (NLT) 

• Love is Considered the Greatest Gift  - “There are three things that will endure—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love.” 
1 Corinthians 13:13 (NLT) 

• Love Helps Us Tell Others About the Love of God - So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other.  Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.”  John 13:34-35 (NLT) 

Let’s Measure Our Degree of “Living in the Light” in terms of a spiritual weather report.  What would your report sound like? Dark and Stormy…Bright and Sunny…Partly Cloudy?   Why?  What is one way these verses encourage you to improve your relationship with Him or others?  What will you do this week to live in the light?
