“Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me.” Psalm 51:10 (NLT)
What Do We Do When We Have Blown It, Big Time?
Step 1: Take Responsibility – “For I recognize my shameful deeds—they haunt me day and night.” Psalm 51:3 (NLT)
Step 2: Come Clean – “Wash me clean from my guilt. Purify me from my sin.” Psalm 51:2 (NLT)
Step 3: Receive Forgiveness - “Purify me from my sins, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.” Psalm 51:7 (NLT)
Step 4: Start Fresh - “Restore to me again the joy of your salvation, and make me willing to obey you.” Psalm 51:12 (NLT)
Step 5: Move Forward – “Then I will teach your ways to sinners, and they will return to you.” Psalm 51:13 (NLT)
